Rattlesnake Hill Farm was established in 1995 as a sustainable organic farm with an emphasis on gourmet, varietal garlic and culinary herbs. Although no longer certified organic, we maintain the same standards that certified organic guidelines require.
Our goal is to provide the consumer with the highest quality and value while preserving our small part of the planet through sustainable agriculture.
Please take a moment to visit us here on the site. We offer not only
seasonal garlic and herbs but also three varieties of garlic jelly, garlic powder, smoked garlic salt and wool year 'round.
We believe in sharing ideas. Feel free to contact us with any questions concerning growing incredible garlic. |

Dear Megan, I cannot tell you how much we love your products. I have served
them and cooked with them for 2 years now. Our friends from Florida (we
hosted them at a tailgate party UK/FL game) are still talking about your
wonderful sauces and what we put on the meat! I won't tell them. Actually, I
am going to give them one of the jellies! We feel so fortunate to have such
wonderful homemade Kentucky products to show off! Now, that I can order
online, you'll be hearing from me quite often. Take care, Jan Wade

We have now been to the State Fair and the Bourbon Festival in Nelson County, our home and the Bourbon capital of the World. The feedback from folks has been super! Anyone who has created a new recipe using the jellies, herbs, salt or fresh garlic is invited to pass it on thru email. If we post yours, we'll send you a jar or bag of your featured item from Rattlesnake Hill Farm.
It's now time to plow, disc and plant garlic. We are also in the process of building a greenhouse and want to shout out to everyone who has helped along the way. You know who you are!
Look for us to have our roving gypsy tent set up at the Bardstown Arts & Crafts festival and at the Glendale Craft festival, both in October. Fall markets are coming to a close, however, we still have fall produce so if you are close by, don't hesitate to call.
Have a great season,
